Game Settings
Disclaimer
By participating in the tournament, the player (you) agrees to adhere and abide by the Code of Conduct, the rules and regulations of the tournament as written on this page, as well as any appropriate policies enforced by the game or any third-party app used. Some situations may occur beyond that which is written on this page. This page will thus be used as a guideline for the Claxon Management team to make a fair and appropriate decision. All rules are as defined by the respective Claxon Management team. This page may be amended without prior notice.
Registrations & Game Rules

Playing and Staffing
- Tournament Officials may not compete as a Participant

Approved Region
- Participants must be of the approved regions
- The approved region will be determined by in-game Ping of up to 100ms from the tournament host

Maximum Teams per Entity
- Clans, Teams, Organizations and Entities may only register 2 exclusive teams under their Name

Roster Size
- Participants may only register 4 main player & 1 substitute player

Team Captain
- Team Captain must be a member of the team

User ID
- Team Captain must register the In-Game-Name (IGN) and User Identification (User ID) in the respective channels

Player Base Requirements
- Participants must have a game account of level 40 & 2 months older.
- Alternate Accounts (“Smurfs”) are strictly prohibited

Team Logo
- Participants that qualify to the semi-finals or above will be required to submit a team logo for Marketing Purposes

Tournament Discord Server
- All Players in the team must be present in the respective Discord Server

Storage
- Participants must ensure they have at least 5GB of space available
- Participants may be instructed to record their screen for anti-cheat procedures

Nicecactus Account
- Nicecactus will be used for registration and Claxon India Hub discord server for the management of the tournament.
Match Rules
General- Players can use supporting items in the game such as load outs, characters, slot character skills and other skins.
- Gun properties will be disabled throughout all matches.
- Death spectate option will be on.
- Use of emulators (Bluestacks, Nox, Memu, etc.) is prohibited during the tournament
- Use of illegal programs is prohibited.
- It is forbidden to use additional or supporting devices, such as a gamepad or additional buttons such as Controller R1 - L1 and others during the matches.
- Flaming / cheating / toxic behaviour is not tolerated. Warnings will be given to the teams that commit such offences. Repeated offences will result in penalties.
- Teaming is prohibited. Any team that participates in teaming will be penalized. The match will continue if a player disconnects or faces any other in-game errors
Game Settings
- Squad Mode Battle Royale
- Squad Size: Minimum 4 Members and Maximum of 6 players(4 Players and 2 Substitute)
- Gun Properties: Off
Technological Regulations
- Permitted Mobile Devices
- Only Mobile Phones & Tablets may be used to compete in the tournament
- Devices must be supported by the iOS or Android operating system
- Emulators or other handheld devices are strictly prohibited
- Permitted Equipment
- Audio Devices such as Headphones, Headsets, Earphones, Earpieces, or Bluetooth Speakers may be used at the comfort of the Participant
- Use of gloves, arm sleeves and other forms of clothing is permitted
- External Triggers are strictly prohibited
- Application
- Participants must update to the latest version of the game
- Participants may only use the official game from the App Store or Google Play
- Modified or Augmented versions are strictly prohibited
- Third-Party Software
- Use of Third-Party Software for the purpose of anti-cheat is permitted
- Use of Third-Party Software such as Game Boosters, Device Boosters, or any software that is not specified by the Tournament Officials is strictly prohibited
- Use of approved Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) are permitted
- Use of Telecommunications Applications such as Discord, TeamSpeak, Team Talk or WhatsApp is permitted
Pre-Match regulations
- Reporting Time
- Participants to report 30 minutes before match timing
- For Cup Styled Events, Participants must be ready throughout the day
- Roster Changes
- No Roster Changes are allowed.
- Match Details
- Team Captains must declare arranged Match Details to the Tournament Officials 24-hours before the Match Timing
- Any dispute must be declared to the Tournament Officials
- Match Hosting
- Appointed Tournament Official will create the room and disseminate the information to the respective Team Captains
- Room Details to be disseminated 15 minutes before Match Timing
- Any issue in joining the room must be declared immediately
- Participants are expected to have all maps downloaded onto their devices
- Warmup
- As soon as the room is hosted, a 15-minute warmup ensues
- Participants are expected to play normally and uphold sportsmanship
- Tournament Official is to check for unregistered players
- At no point should unregistered players be present in the room
- Anti-Cheat
- All Participants are required to go through the Anti-Cheat procedures
- No killing is permitted during this time
- Live
- The Match will begin upon the Tournament Official’s cue of “LIVE”
- Participants with unstable connection will be forced to leave
- Delays
- A complimentary 5 minutes will be granted for requests of delay for:
- Technical Issues
- Personal Issues
- The Match will begin immediately once the 5 minutes have passed

Match Regulations
- Presence
- Participants are to be in the game until the scoreboard has faded away
- Participants may only disconnect to report issues
- Mid-Match Recordings
- Tournament Officials may request for a player to perform a Mid-Match Recording
- Participant is to follow the steps in Section __
- Streaming
- Matches may be live-streamed onto respective platforms for Marketing purposes
- Participants are strictly prohibited from Stream Sniping
- Stream Sniping may include:
- Watching the stream to gain an advantage
- Asking someone else to watch the stream and relay information
- Listening to the audio to gain intel
- Any other form of intel gathering
- Rehosting
- Match may be rehosted for the following reasons:
- Technical Issues faced by 2 or more Participants
- Incorrect Room Settings
- Match may only be rehosted if the rehost is non-intrusive towards the outcome of the game
- A rehost is not in order if more than 50% of the game has passed
- Sufficient evidence must be provided to suggest the rehost is in order
- Match may be rehosted for the following reasons:
- Formal Warnings
- Tournament Officials may formally warn teams for breaking any rules during the match
- Should 3 formal warnings be given to the team, the team will be disqualified immediately
- Tournament Officials may advise a team against actions without providing a formal warning
- Formal Warnings must explicitly state that a Tournament Official “Warns” a team for a misdeed
Post-Match Regulations
- Results
- Results will be released on the same day as the match
- Results may be disputed through appropriate channels
- Uncivil disputes will NOT be considered
- Technical Issues
- Technical Issues reported after a match may not affect the now past match’s results
- Technical Issues must be reported immediately as faced
- Cheating
- Participants suspected of cheating will be investigated immediately with due diligence
- Participants may be requested to conduct a full recording of their upcoming match
- Disputes
- Only Team Captains may raise disputes to the Tournament Official
- Disputes regarding the tournament should NOT be settled outside the tournament
- Disputes must be backed with proper evidence to be considered
- Validity of the Match
- The Match will not be considered if proven to be unreliable in providing accurate\ results
- Conditions that may affect the Validity of the Match:
- Technical Difficulties of the game
- Match interruptions
- Misconduct of Tournament Officials
Expected Behavior
- Sportsmanship
- Sportsmanship is expected from all Participants throughout the event
- Defeated and Victorious Participants alike must practice good sportsmanship
- Failure to uphold sportsman-like behavior is a violation of our Code of Conduct
- Integrity
- Participants are expected to be honest throughout their involvement in the tournament
- Participants who witness misdeeds should report them to a trusted Tournament Official immediately
- Alternatively, the Participant may email Claxon Tournaments at contact@claxontournaments.net
- Professionalism
- Participants, Tournament Officials, and other Staff Members are expected to uphold and maintain professionalism throughout the tournament
- Maintaining professionalism involves respecting authority and taking the appropriate channels for any dispute
- Maintaining professionalism also involves keeping a professional relation between members of the different roles involved in the tournament
Prohibited Actions
- Collusion
- Any form of colluding or conspiring with other teams or Tournament Officials is strictly prohibited
- Such examples include:
- Any agreement among two or more players or other Team Members not to play to a reasonable standard of competition in a Tournament Game in order to provide any opposing Team or player with certain advantages or benefits
- Any agreement among a Participant and a Tournament Official to work in tandem to provide an advantage to any team
- Bribery
- Any form of providing currencies, provisions, gifts, or favours to Tournament Officials or fellowParticipants is strictly prohibited
- Cheating
- Any form of cheating is prohibited.
- Such examples include:
- Modification of the Critical Ops game client
- Use of illegal gaming equipment such as Trigger Controllers
- Use of Third-Party Softwares to create an unfair advantage for the Participant
- Impersonation
- Pretending to be another Participant or Tournament Official is strictly prohibited
- Such examples include:
- Playing under another participant’s account or Gamertag.
- Playing under an account that is not owned by the participant.
- Giving commands as if the Participant is a Tournament Official
- Offensive Language
- Any language that is offensive, insulting, libelous, slanderous, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, threatening, foul or vulgar is strictly prohibited
- This rule is applied to all languages used during communication
Disciplinary Actions
- Warnings
- Tournament Officials may, to their absolute discretion, provide formal warnings for breaking or intending to break any rule or regulation
- Watchlist
- Tournament Officials may, to their absolute discretion, report a player for any offence, to be added to a watchlist for all Claxon Tournaments
- Blacklist
- Tournament Officials may, to their absolute discretion, debar a player from Claxon Tournaments on a quarterly basis
- Blacklisted Players may receive leniency for community service
- Revocation of Prizes
- Tournament Directors may, to their absolute discretion, revoke a team prizes for breaking any rule or regulation
- Viva
- Tournament Officials suspected of ghosting will sit for a viva in all their matches
- Tournament Official will livestream their screen onto Discord, and have a lovely conversation with the Tournament Director while the match is ongoing.
